Campus & Facilities

Our passion is digital filmmaking. Our goal is to teach our students the craft of digital filmmaking and to nurture their own passion for making films. FilmSchoolSF faculty is comprised of accomplished directors, producers, writers, musicians, editors, actors, art directors and sound designers. The award-winning staff of professionals is here to help our students develop their craft every step of the way. Small class sizes assure individual attention and grant greater access to the digital filmmaking equipment. Our project-based film classes give our students the real-working experience necessary to succeed in the competitive world of digital filmmaking.

san francisco digital film schoolAfter six great years in Potrero Hill, FilmSchoolSF has moved it’s facilities downtown San Francisco to a fresh new space in the famed San Francisco Chronicle building at the corner of 5th and Mission. We’re still the same San Francisco Digital Film school with the same great instructors, progressive curriculum and hands-on teaching ethics but we’re in a more polished and functional location. This new spot is more in line with our ambitious plans for the future and will be an efficient and comprehensive home-base for all our digital filmmaking initiatives.

From an established San Francisco Bay Area arts organization to an innovative co-working community, we’re surrounded by a smart, high-energy dynamism that will have an immediate impact on our day-to-day atmosphere. Movie theaters, art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and more are just steps away and both BART and MUNI are right around the corner.

We’re excited to have taken this big, next step and hope that you will share in our enthusiasm and join us as we move onward and upward.

See you downtown San Francisco!
